Beside the stone lion at Egypt Point, above the golden stones

Beyond the shore of shifting light radiant deepest blue at its furthest edge

Serene like a cathedral of poetry, a magnum opus, a painting of song

Misting, indigo kisses light edges of a dreamscape of water

My eyes flash like sapphires watching the burning colours

Beside the stone lion at Egypt Point

Above the golden stones
