She is just a bonny gypsy girl

No frills no fancy

A pretty girl

With flowers in her hair

A gypsy girl

Long legs spangle, dangle

In her garnet red patent leather shoes

With shining silver buckles O

Ruby down her henna hair

Comes tumbling curling and dancing

Over her shoulders of alabaster

Her words

Oh, To hear her words

Her words, smile you a thousand kisses

Words swimming in deep sapphire oceans

Poetry painted in broad stokes of rainbow

Words that splash across a stretched white canvas

They ascend like coloured balloons

Carry her dreaming upon the wind

Mesmerized, we are caught within her emerald gaze

Held, Spell bound

She is just a bonny gypsy girl

No frills no fancy

A pretty girl with flowers in her hair

A gypsy girl

Poppy red and red again, red cherry lips

Sweet dip me do gingerbread girl

Razzle dazzle

Diamond dancing girl

Dancing in her red, red shoes

She is just a bonny gypsy girl

No frills no fancy a pretty girl

With flowers in her hair

A gypsy girl
