Once upon a time

In the faraway of only a moment ago

Children play beneath the exploding wrath of hatred

Beautiful wildflowers

Flowers, flowers, fields of golden buttercup

Nowhere smiles and nowhere pity

For a city where children fall in the street

Fall dead at our feet lay crushed and broken

Trampled into the ground, beautiful wildflowers

Flowers

Petals carried upon the wind

Fields of forgotten golden buttercup
