Jack and Jill

Where is it, this state of being?

What is it that was expected of them?

Forever the universal pair

Learning that all truth is accidental but inevitable.

Both destined for ever to spin the circles of life that replenishes the thirst of history.

Greatness in one man is borne on the shoulders of many and in the minds of few.

As Christ is infinite, so then is heaven as a kingdom.

The coming together to mate and war, and then to die in a killing field

All for glory to win a golden crown, a castle, or a king.

A battle bloodied prince loved only his sister for his queen to be.

Shaken from their sleep, taken in the dead of night

There to a sacred stone upon the high green hill.

Wherein the shadowed unholy wait to bless incestuous alliance,

Cold, cold the darkness within dank stone royal walls.

Brother and sister kissed the sword of Christ and bathed naked in the chilling stony force.

Those who had blessed them and placed before God the golden crown upon this new deity will later lie awaiting

Riding ready with ragged sword and slit to defile their royal union

Before they deliver welcomed death.

Stealing his broken bloody crown, they gather up stones and flowers to cover brother and sister

Who will sleep forever beneath the green, green hill.

One is jack the other Jill.
