How warm the morning bright becomes

My love

Smile sweet summer chases freckle shadows beneath her hat

Red silk scarf wind whipping

Moments of her perfume in the air

Her words carry on the wind drowning far out to sea

Softly heard within shells upon some distant shore

My love

Green her sun sparkle eyes flash like splashes from the sea

Taking my hand into hers she smiles

We laugh and kiss like children

The taste of sea and perfume

August looms across the blue sky following the horizon

My love
