I have promised not to ring you I have promised not to call

I will even supply the sticks and stones you need to build your wall

Then, only when you think you are able to cope with such as I

Shoot a flare high into the air and straight to your keep I’ll fly

As you think you are safe my love, I advise you think again

My strategies are in no doubt dear, I will be the victor in this campaign

I promise that I will overcome, you have no chance at all

I will devastate your battlements, penetrate your stony wall

I am sure you will struggle bravely to cope with such as I

Whilst I row my boat across your moat

I need to keep my powder dry
