What colour are your feelings my lovely

‘Tis the darkest of grey mornings

Turning to brightest, lightest edges of a new day

A white barn owl make a last streaking sweep

Vanishing into the dank, damp clinging mist

What colour are your feelings my lovely

Coiling root of green clinging ivy

Horse Chestnut trees clawing high into the sky seeking light

Cascading leaves all ways to the wind

Kicking through leafy carpets, all to string a conker

What colour are your feelings my lovely

All down along the rushy pool

Hidden by reeds, tall Grey Herons statuesque watch ripples

Deep in the thickets Sprite and Spirits dwell

Fire flying, weaving webs of silver dusted light
